2. Overview

This website works without embedded third-party content and without fonts or maps from external providers. Fonts and the map are loaded directly from this server. Personal data is only processed in the cases described below.

3. Hosting and server log files

The website runs on a server at [hosting provider, address] in [country]. When you open the pages, the web server automatically processes data sent by your browser: IP address, date and time of the request, page requested, amount of data transferred, referrer URL, and browser and operating system.

This data is technically necessary to deliver the website and keep it secure. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and stable operation). The log files are deleted after [7] days.

4. Contact by phone, e-mail or contact form

If you call me or write an e-mail, I process your details (e.g. name, phone number, e-mail address, your request) in order to answer your enquiry and arrange appointments. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to or performance of a contract) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for general enquiries. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed for this purpose and no statutory retention periods apply.

If you use the contact form, your details (name, e-mail address or phone number, your message) are transmitted to this server in encrypted form and forwarded from there to my mailbox as an e-mail. The content is not stored on the web server. To protect against automated requests, the server checks technical characteristics of the request (time the page was opened, a field invisible to humans, number of requests per IP address); no third-party services are used for this. Legal bases and deletion are as described in the previous paragraph. Please do not send detailed health data via the form.

5. Visitor statistics with Umami

To understand how this website is used, I use the open-source software Umami. It runs on the same server as this website; no data is passed on to third parties. Umami sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device.

The following is recorded: page visited, referring page, browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language and the country derived from the IP address. The IP address itself is not stored. Visits are grouped using an anonymised value that does not allow any conclusion about you as a person; you are not recognised across several days or across other websites.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a data-saving analysis to improve this website). Consent under § 25 TDDDG is not required, because no information is stored on or read from your device.

6. External links

This website links to other websites (e.g. partner practices, OpenStreetMap). Data is only transferred to the respective provider when you click such a link; their privacy policy applies there.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR).
